Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom, prosperity, and new beginnings. This year, Ganesh Chaturthi will be observed on 7 september. The festival is marked by the installation of Ganesha idols in homes and public places, followed by prayers, songs, and processions. We, here at GD Goenka Public School Sector 9 Rohini educate our students about the significance of the festival, organizing cultural events, and emphasizing environmental sustainability by promoting eco-friendly Ganesha idols.
Let us come together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion, enthusiasm, and a sense of unity. May the blessings of Lord Ganesha bring wisdom, happiness, and prosperity to all.
