Every year, 25th January is celebrated in India as NATIONAL TOURISM DAY, an incredible way to spread awareness about the importance of traveling and protecting nature. The subcontinent has several things to offer, vast beaches with glistening sand, magnificent mountains covered in snow and adventurous forests boasting of rare and beautiful flora and fauna. National Tourists day is celebrated to educate people about the benefits of traveling and the importance of tourism. India is a tourist’s paradise and this trade plays an important role in the economy of the country.
This is a great time to appreciate the culture and the heritage of different parts of India and helps understand the country better. The THEME for NATIONAL TOURISM DAY 2022 is “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”- each region in the country has a rich history attached to it, it needs to be commemorated in its own different way.
