In honor of the supreme sacrifice made by Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the Indian government has decided to observe December 26 as “Veer Baal Diwas.”  This day is celebrated to mark the martyrdom of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Ji and Sahibzada. The valor and ideals of Sahibzadas give strength and inspiration to millions of people. It is noteworthy that the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas is an integral part of the history of Sikhs. Char Sahibzade means four sons or descendants.These four Sahibzada were the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth guru of the Sikhs – Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh.
