“Stop mosquitoes, stop malaria.”
(WMD) is an international observance commemorated every year on 25 April and recognizes global efforts to control malaria. Globally, 3.3 billion people in 106 countries are at risk of malaria. WMD is one of 11 official global public health campaigns currently marked by the World Health Organization (WHO). World Malaria Day allows for corporations, multinational organizations and grassroots organizations globally to work together to bring awareness to malaria and advocate for policy changes. For World Malaria Day, efforts across India including a series of measures to control the spread of this vector-borne disease are made every year. GD Goenka Public School, Rohini, Sector 9, joins hands in spreading awareness about the disease and fighting it with all precautions.
