At GDGPS, the House System fosters teamwork, leadership, and a sense of belonging among learners. Each house serves as a close-knit community that encourages healthy competition in academics, sports, and cultural activities. It helps learners develop confidence, cooperation, and school spirit. The system nurtures responsibility and unity, making every learner an integral part of the school family.

Grade 1

In Grade 1, learners begin t  T o think critically, reason logically, and solve problems independently. Through interactive number games and hands-on learning, they strengthen their understanding of addition, subtraction, measurement, and patterns. Curiosity fuels their study of the natural world, where experiments and inquiry-based activities inspire questioning and exploration.

Hindi instruction builds literacy and communication skills, emphasizing vocabulary, sentence formation, reading, and expression. In English, students develop fluency, grammar awareness, and confidence through storytelling, role-play, and public speaking, making learning both expressive and meaningful.

TAGORE HOUSE

Tagore House draws inspiration from the ideals of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore — a visionary poet, philosopher, and educationist. The house stands for creativity, harmony, and humanism, encouraging learners to think freely and express themselves with confidence. It aims to nurture well-rounded individuals who combine intellectual curiosity with compassion, reflecting Tagore’s belief in learning through love and service to humanity.
