Doctors’ Day is celebrated to honor and appreciate the dedication, compassion, and selfless service of doctors toward society. In India, National Doctors’ Day is observed on July 1st every year in memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a renowned physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, who was born and also died on July 1.
